Snowboarding Trick 2 Try a Wheelie
Once you have mastered your stance and feel comforable on your board travelling down a slope you can start trying a few Snowboarding tricks. Time to try a “wheelie.” Basically riding along with nose of your board in the air. First, seek that nice gentle slope again.Up on to your board and start to ride downhill in a straight line being careful not to pick up too much speed. When you’re good and ready, crouch down slightly and lean backwards. Now move your weight on your back foot and slowly lift your front foot. Be careful to keep your balance with the board’s nose in the air. Hold it for a few seconds and that’s your “wheelie.” To return to “normal” just put your board’s nose back to the snow and that’s all there is to it! Doing a few fundamantal tricls is not too hard as long as you have learned the basics first. It,s when you try to do what the pro;s are doing that you end up in trouble. the secret is to start learning to balance first as you get used to your new snowboard and then gently progress to more difficult stunts. but master the trick you are doing before moving on to the next snowboarding trick. |
